This project is part of my exploration in abstract thinking, built around a provocative question: what can light hide? At first glance, the idea seems paradoxical — light is supposed to reveal, yet here it obscures.
In the first render, the wall itself becomes ambiguous: is it black or white? The light masks its true color, even though the wall remains visible. In another frame, the brightness hides the texture beneath the right wall, and, perhaps most intriguingly, the source of the light is concealed entirely.
By shifting the color to a deep red—often associated with danger or aggression—the animation evolves into something more unsettling. The minimal and calm environment takes on a sense of intrigue and even menace, reminding us of how the unknown, when tinted through perception, can trigger unease and curiosity at the same time.
This study in geometry, light, and perception demonstrates how even the simplest forms can evoke complex emotional responses.
