As part of a university project, I had the opportunity to work on a rebranding for dog and cat shelters Psí Naděje and PesWeb. I worked with wonderful team with Klára Ondráčková, Marek Bukrič, and Ondřej Fiala, thank you for that! We developed a unified visual identity that connects both organizations under one cohesive look while preserving their individual roles.
The central element of the new identity is a heart motif, present in both original logos. We built upon this symbol to design a new logo that seamlessly integrates the silhouette of a dog and a cat, together forming the outline of a heart. This design represents love, care, and mutual support—values at the core of both organizations. The logo uses simple, gentle lines and warm colors such as yellow, light brown, and dark brown, evoking energy, optimism, friendliness, and stability.
We also provided a brand manual with all the works we did including:
The visual identity system combines bold, playful Roca typography for headlines with the elegant and readable Sirenia font for supporting text, creating a balanced and trustworthy tone. The logo was designed for maximum versatility and scalability, with multiple variants ensuring clarity across all formats—from digital platforms to merchandise. This cohesive design extends to custom heart-based icons and branded items like tote bags and t-shirts, helping build a sense of community. For social medias, we created user-friendly templates to create new posts without the need for advanced design skills.
